Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Flight Path Distance (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Not for Navigation

The App is a planning reference tool only. It is not certified for, and must not be used for, in-flight navigation or operational flight planning. Always use approved charts, NOTAMs, and certified navigation equipment for actual flight operations. The developer assumes no liability for decisions made based on data provided by the App.

Subscriptions

The App offers an optional auto-renewable subscription:

  • Flight Path Distance Pro — yearly subscription.
  • Price is displayed on the purchase screen and may vary by region.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Accuracy & Data

Distance, bearing, wind, and ETE calculations are based on standard models (great-circle geometry, ISA atmosphere, GFS forecast data). While we strive for accuracy, results are approximate and provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in the App are the property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
